Parker Membrane Air Dryers are designed to remove water vapour from compressed air, helping reduce moisture-related problems such as corrosion, equipment malfunction and condensation in pneumatic systems. They are particularly suitable for applications requiring localised compressed-air drying.
The dryers use hollow-fibre membrane technology, which allows water vapour to pass through the membrane walls while the remaining compressed air continues towards the application. A portion of the dried compressed air is used as purge air to carry the separated moisture vapour out of the dryer.
Parker Membrane Air Dryers operate without electrical power or refrigerants and have no moving parts in the membrane drying module. Suitable upstream filtration is required to remove liquid water, oil aerosols and particles before the compressed air enters the membrane. Correct dryer selection depends on operating pressure, inlet temperature, air flow and the required outlet pressure dew point.
