PARKER OIL-X OVR OIL VAPOUR REDUCTION FILTERS

Activated Carbon Filtration for Oil Vapour Reduction in Compressed Air

Parker OIL-X OVR Oil Vapour Reduction Filters use activated carbon adsorption technology to reduce oil vapour contamination in compressed-air systems, helping protect downstream equipment and support industrial applications requiring low oil-vapour levels.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Parker OIL-X OVR Oil Vapour Reduction Filters are designed to reduce oil vapour contamination in compressed-air systems. Oil vapour may remain present even after liquid oil and oil aerosols have been removed through conventional coalescing filtration, making additional purification necessary for processes requiring low oil-vapour levels.

The OIL-X OVR range uses granular activated carbon to adsorb oil vapour from compressed air. Its cartridge-based design offers a compact alternative to conventional activated carbon towers, with replaceable cartridges that support maintenance and servicing.

Parker OIL-X OVR filters are intended for integration into a properly designed compressed-air treatment system. Suitable upstream coalescing filtration is required to remove oil aerosols before adsorption filtration. Installation downstream of a compressed-air dryer is recommended for optimum performance, although alternative arrangements may be permitted under Parker's specified sizing and operating conditions.
